HOW I CAN HELP:

As your MP, I can help with matters for which central government is directly responsible. Problems with local authority services, such as waste collection, road maintenance, planning, and school and housing allocation are managed by eitherWaltham Forest Council or Redbridge Council, depending on where you live. These enquiries should be directed to your local councillors.

If you live in Waltham Forest, you can find your councillors’ details here,  and if you live in Redbridge, you can find your councillors’ details here.  Although I have no authority on Council decisions, and I would encourage you to contact your local councillors first, I am happy to write to the Council and ask them to look into a problem or reconsider a particular issue.

I am unable to intervene in private disputes with neighbours or employers; with companies who have sold you faulty goods, nor can I help to settle family arguments. Furthermore, I cannot interfere with court decisions or offer legal advice, nor can my team.

If you are not a Leyton and Wanstead constituent: Parliamentary protocol means MPs may only take up issues on behalf of constituents. If you are not a constituent, I cannot act on your behalf. You can check your constituency at http://www.parliament.uk/mps-lords-and-offices/mps/
